High school diploma validations
Validation of high school subjects for students who study foreign languages simultaneously in an EOI
Students who are studying high school and, at the same time, a foreign language at an Official Language School (EOI) can request the validation of optional subjects in either of these two cases:
- if you study a B2 level or higher in a foreign language offered by the center,
- if you study any level of a foreign language that is not offered by the center.
This validation is equivalent to:
– six hours in first year of high school
– four hours in second year of high school
The procedure is:
1. Pre-register and enroll in the EOI (check the information here ).
2. Submit to the high school center, before October 31:
- a certificate from the EOI stating that the student is enrolled and what their level is
the validation request
3. If the application has been accepted and the student obtains a favorable assessment from the EOI, at the end of the year their center will give them the final validation.
ATTENTION
- The validated subject has no grade and does not count towards the average grade for the course.
- If the final course performance in the EOI is NOT favorable, the subject cannot be retaken or validated.
