Summer course 2024
Duration
From July 1 to 19 (60 hours), Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Certificates
At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance will be given, which has no official validity. 80% attendance is required to obtain it.
Other activities
Complementary cultural and recreational activities will be organized with the aim of offering students knowledge of the culture and life of the countries whose language they are studying.
Aimed at young people born between 2007 and 2010.

- Registration will close as soon as the available places are filled. From this moment on, you will only be able to register on the waiting list.
- If there are still places available, registration will remain open until June 28 at 1:30 p.m.
- When places are filled, interested students will be able to register for the other regular summer courses.
Essential documentation for registration
It is essential to attach a scan (in PDF or image format, maximum size of 2 MB ), at the time of registration, of the following documentation:
- DNI/NIE or passport
- Corresponding supporting documentation, in the case of a discount (50%) or exemption from paying tuition fees (only the amount corresponding to the additional resources must be paid.)
You will need to sign the relevant authorizations and send them to us before the start of the course by email to documentaciocursosespecials@eoibd.cat or in person during the special courses office's opening hours. Enrolment will not be considered final until the signed authorizations have been received.
Level test
Once enrolled, students will be required to take a placement test. They will receive an email with the relevant information and a link to the test. On the first day of class, they will take an oral test to finalize their level. If the test result indicates that they have a level lower or higher than these, we will contact the parents/guardians to recommend that they join a general adult summer course.

Additional information
- The courses require dedication at home by the student.
- The EOIBD summer courses are not equivalent to the regular courses of a minimum duration of 130 hours that take place there throughout an academic year. The programming of the youth courses is adapted to the needs of this group and, therefore, the certificate obtained does not have the same value as that of the official courses: it does not guarantee a place nor does it exempt you from taking the level test in case of pre-registration for the ordinary courses.
- The School reserves the right to cancel a course if the established minimum number of students is not reached.
- In the event of cancellation of registration before the start of the course, if it is for a justified reason, the registration amount will be refunded after deducting the administrative registration fees (€55.00). If administrative fees have not been paid, the amount paid will be refunded except for the 15% administrative management fee. No amount will be refunded once the course has started.
- The registration fee will only be refunded if a course has to be cancelled.
- This course is pending authorization.
- In the event of an exemption, if the student does not attend a minimum of 65%, they will have a penalty and will not be able to enroll in any special course for free for two years.
